1... LOCATE THE TARGET TISSUE

Trod Medical’s proprietary software for
surgical planning allows the surgeon to
locate and precisely target the soft tissue
area to be ablated. Trod Medical’s software
works in conjunction with any existing
ultrasound image guidance system.

2... ENCAGE TARGET TISSUE

Encage electrodes are inserted
percutaneously under ultrasound image
guidance into the target tissue. An electrode
guide along with an articulating arm and
stepper facilitate the positioning of the
Encage™ electrode. The ultra sound imaging
allows the electrode to be viewed in real
time while being precisely positioned into
the target tissue.

3... ABLATE TARGET TISSUE

Trod Medical’s “Power Cage Plus” delivers
a precise percutaneous ablation of
target tissue with well defined margins
while leaving surrounding healthy tissue
unaffected. The Power Cage Plus is a unique
impedance and power controlled bipolar
RF generator that delivers a consistent and
controlled ablation every time.
